This company has already expanded into 75 countries spread over several continents, and hope to expand further into new countries.As an international markets business analyst, you have been asked to produce a presentation to the Board of Directors to advise them on the concept of ‘Globalisation’ and the challenges this creates for global businesses trying to enter new markets. You are required to investigate and explain the key factors that drive globalisation as well as the key challenges this creates when operating internationally. This will be presented by using the PESTLE framework to guide you in the critical analysis of the political, economic, socio-cultural, technological, legal and environmental dimensions, and identifying their impact on the company’s international strategy and operations.The presentation should include the following: An introduction to the concept of globalisation. As part of your research you also have to investigate how globalisation affects decision making and strategy within the global business organization you are analysing. This will require that you apply theory (McKinsey’s 7S model, Hofstede’s Dimensions of Culture, international market entry modes, etc.) when you consider the factors that influence the structure, culture and organisational functions in the given business. You should relate to the given organisation and demonstrate how their strategy and decisions have been influenced and shaped by the factors you have discussed.The report should include the following: An overview (i.e. a profile) of the case organisation.
