There are usually three main types of the management of knowledge – techniques of intelligence, knowledge system of work, and enterprise system of administration of knowledge. In the control of experience, there are two types of knowledge-explicit and tacit knowledge. The components of the story of the management of expertise are the people, IT, strategy and process. Information systems refer to the system study concerning the information and hardware and software network that the organisation and people use in collecting, filtering, processing, creating and distributing data. This assignment aims at critically analysing the management of knowledge and system of information of BJSS and highlights the determinants. It will give a brief about the objective of the corporate, overview of a business, structure of the company and model of the company. It has focused on the PESTEL and SWOT analysis to analyse the external and internal environment of the business and suggest suitable recommendations. 2. Definitions Corporate Objectives Corporate objectives of a firm are keen to highlight the desired focus of the firm. In order to be precise, it showcases the overall motive of the firm and seeks its major anticipation in performing a business. The corporate objective of BJSS is to provide sustainable and technological IT assistance to its clients and help in accomplishing their motives with ease (, 2020). The firm tends to be more focused on building adequate relationships with its clients and instigates resilience and fairness in its operations. However, the firm manages to accommodate world-class and quality technological solutions to leading MNCs in the world and assures them feasibility through advanced engineering and collaborative approach. Business Overview The business overview of BJSS can be acknowledged by seeking into its nature of persistence. The firm is entitled to perform its venture activities through innovative thinking capabilities. In order to be precise, the firm has been anticipated to attain prosperity in the business functions through professional excellence and collaborating traits. However, the firm has been keen to deliver the most promising assistance to its clients and prosper their acknowledgements through quality assurance in their working attributes (BELGHITAR et al. 2019). The firm tends to be more concentrated towards seeking long term relationships with their consumers and cherish their satisfaction with ease. Corporate Structure The firm exercises its business through a functional corporate structure. The firm operates its business by segregating the workload into different functions and departments. Such helps in seeking flexibility and propensity in the performance and thus allows providing better assurance for the same. The most promising traits of such structure are that it helps in mitigating the potential hindrance in the productivity and tends to focus on each function simultaneously. This accommodates enhanced performance and ensures quality in their attributes. Thus, it can be cited that the firm is anticipated to operate its business through B2C model. The main highlight of this model is to perform its operations or facilitate the production of service directly to the consumers. The main focus of this model is to indulge satisfactory attributes among its consumers through quality service and operations. On the other hand, such a model, is dedicated to ensuring low operational costs which stimulate maximise return on investments (Osborn and Simpson, 2018). This appreciates the resilience of consumers and enhanced their experience with ease. 3. Being a constitutional monarchy, the nations are provided ample opportunities for foreign entities to facilitate trade and expansion for their business. However, the emergence of Brexit tends to be affecting the same overall. Economic The UK has been claimed as one of the most developed economies in the world, stimulating a GDP of 2.21 trillion British pounds (, 2020). The economic state of the nation is prosperous in terms of revenue generation and productivity. However, the inflation rate of the UK is 0.8% in June 2020 (, 2020). Such instigates that the nation is enriched with adequate resources and human resources facilities. BJSS will be highly benefited through such actions. Social Socially the national citizens have been acclaimed to be emotional and adequate in nature. As per the understanding, the consumers prefer authentic and self-proclaimed natured in order to avoid any kind of barrier or resistance in the quality. The citizens are highly sceptical in choosing products and services and ensure excellence in every aspect. However, the government has been failing to provide them with quality assurance through public services and accommodations. Henceforth, the social aesthetics of the citizens has been acknowledged and will help in making sustainable stages for BJSS. Technological The UK has been cited as one of the top three digital technologically advanced nations in the world, which instigates that it is a global leader in terms of technological advancements (, 2020). The technological sector contributes around £149bn to the UK economy, which is 7.7% as per the shares. The technical industry grew 6 times faster than any other sector in the nation (, 2020). Such illustrates that BJSS will be highly benefited through such traits and expand its business in the country accordingly Legal The UK has been populated with a diverse range of professionals and consumers and thus requires more prominent facilities regarding the law regime. In order to maintain adequate business operations, the regulatory bodies have instructed specific laws in order to protect the interests of employees in the employer. Companies act 2006 practice the interest of companies in the nation; on the other hand, the Employment act 2020 assures the employees and their employment in the nation. Henceforth, it can be identified that the legal factors ensure flexibility in terms of business operations of BJSS. Environmental Environment plays a vital role in influencing the performance of the company .BJSS being a IT entity exercises its business operations mostly indoors and digitally. However, the environmental state of the nation is quite adaptive and suitable. Thus it can be stated that the BJSS performance won’t be much affected due to the ecological concerns in the society. SWOT ANALYSIS Strengths Adequate service such as software development, providing cloud security and data analysis.Weaknesses Lack of equipped professionals and trained staffs.Opportunities International growth of the market.Threats Cyber security hacking. This helps in enriching the relationships between them and seeks customer retention. Such helps in cultivating long term benefits. Weaknesses: the most prime weakness of the firm is its lack of qualified and skilled professionals. Providing IT assistance requires highly trained professionals in order to attain supremacy in the market (Vogel, 2016). However, the firm has been seeking training and development of professionals accordingly to increase their persistence. Opportunities: high growth in the international market has been claimed as one of the potential opportunities for BJSS to expand and exercise better growth opportunities in future. Attracting new international clients will benefit the capital structure of the firm accordingly. Threats: with the emergence and development of cyberspace in the world, the need to protect it is also necessary. In this era of globalisation, hackers can damage their performance of the firm from any part of the world and thus seeks the need for cyber assurance (KOLIOS and READ, 2019). Such can profoundly influence the productivity of BJSS. Henceforth, it becomes easy for a buyer to choose alternative assistance in order to fulfil its demands and necessities. Thus it can be claimed that it is High in nature. Power of supplier Since the nature of the services and products acknowledged in the IT sector is complex and requires advanced knowledge and skillset to perform and accommodate. Thus, it can be cited that the availability of the supplier in this trade is Low due to the diversified nature of existence (PARMAR et al. 2019). Threat of entrant The threat to new entrants in the IT industry is Low due to its complex nature and understanding. Performing an IT business requires substantial capital investments and skilled labours, which may not be adequate for every entity to accomplish. Threat of substitute The threat to substitute in the IT sector is High due to the existence of high competitors. Since the IT services are likely to be mostly identical in nature and thus enhance the chances to substitute among the firms in the industry. Competition The competitive nature in the IT industry is High due to the presence of intense competitors like Bluewolf and Switchfast Technologies. Entities are performing extensive marketing strategies to attract the consumers and facilitate them with the use of services and standards. 4. Recommendation of most suitable MIS a. Information systems play a vital role in enhancing and supporting the key functions of the firm. The prime significance of the firm is to integrate the components of storing, collecting and processing the data and information to assist the necessary departments of BJSS. The aptest IS systems available in the entity are Online Analytical Processing (OLAP), Management Information System (MIS) and Decision Support System (DSS). All the systems play a decisive role in assisting and nurturing the key function of the firm such as management of customer relations, supply chain and technological assistance, finance and HR (Crick et al. 2017). The most suitable and recommended IS system for BJSS will be the Decision Support System (DSS). The main requirements of this IS system in the firm would be to gain a competitive edge in the market against its competitors. The DSS system helps in evaluating the standards and performance of the firm through quality decision-making capabilities by senior authorities. The main role of such a system is to facilitate the ease of decision-making norms in every function and department of the firm and ensure flexibility (Abubakre et al. 2017). The main purpose or objective of the system is to anticipate sustainable solutions to the issues and problems in the functions that are unique and changeable in nature. The system exaggerates mainly two perspectives before facilitating any decisions in the firm, first being the impacts on the performance of the employees and second being its effect on its competitors. The arrangements are mainly supported upon statistical figures and sophisticated mathematical models to accommodate the solutions. The main significance of this system is that it will allow BJSS to attain quality financial planning and ensure profitable aspects in terms of revenue generation and optimising the resources prominently (, 2020). On the other hand, it also helps in assisting the different functions of the firm such as HR, budgeting and sales management. It also helps in eradicating the key issues and problems in each function of BJSS. b. The role of the IS systems in the proper functioning of the firm is impeccable as it helps in indulging resilience in the performance of various functions in BJSS. The key role of the systems in enhancing the various services of the firm are as follows: Customer relations management Customer relationship management has been proclaimed as one of the most influential and significant functions in BJSS. The entity tends to be focusing on consumer relationships and chains in order to satisfy their wants and resolve their queries correctly. To enhance such the indulgence of an information system is necessary for every aspect. The implementation of DSS will profoundly improve the aesthetics of the CRM function and seek productive yield in nature (Jacobsen, 2020). Precisely the DSS system helps in acknowledging and resolving the queries and issues of the consumers through analytical research and analysis. Resolving the questions quickly helps in seeking better satisfactory alms among the consumers, which cherished their experience accordingly. On the other hand, it also helps in seeking the most informative and qualified process to attain the problem of consumers and thus seeks prominence. This will help in enhancing the performance of the firm overall through customer retention and repetition. However, it can also seek potential benefits in future through maintaining regularity among the consumers by nurturing their operations adequately (KRIZ and WELCH, 2018). Overall it helps in contributing to the corporate objectives of the firm. Supply chain management Supply chain management is acknowledged to be a vital function for BJSS. Prominent supply chains are highly conductive in indulging efficiency and flexibility in the performance of the firm. The basic function of the supply chain management is to highlight the key movement of the services through the entity to its consumers. Fault in the supply chain management stimulates inadequacy in the operations and thus affect the goodwill of the firm (Popescu et al. 2019). The role of IS in such a function is highly beneficial. IS allows smooth functioning of services and products any potential hindrances. The indulgence of DSS helps in seeking better actions in order to resolve a query and operates efficiently. Promising supply chain management helps in enriching the participating level of the clients. Delivering the services within the deadline promotes goodwill of the firm and thus seeks growth and expansion. DSS plays a vital role in facilitating proper decision-making traits to maintain adequacy in the performance. On the other hand, DSS seeks better control management, utilisation of resources and reduces the overhead cost of the firm. However, evaluating the performance of the supply chain will help in boosting the overall potency of the firm and result in the accomplishment of goals with ease. Knowledge capture & sharing: The IT industry is based on expert predictions and proposed skills of professionals. Knowledge and sharing are the essential functions of an IT entity like BJSS. Expertise skill sets and authentic experience helps in assisting better services and solutions to the clients with ease. One of the main responsibilities of knowledge is to ensure that proper data and information is to be provided to the consumers eradicating any kind of mistrust and fakeness in the solution (Rottke and Thiele, 2018). Such is highly important to gain the client’s faith and trust. IS plays a major role in sustaining knowledge in the solutions. IS interprets strategic management and tactical management forces in the answers to enrich the outcomes to be highly authentic and generic. Such outcomes play a vital role in upgrading the standard of the service and thus seeks customer satisfaction. However, the contribution of DSS is exponential in such aspects (Rottke and Thiele, 2018). DSS helps in monitoring the actual knowledge to mitigate a specific query or request; this helps in emphasising the performance of the professionals and enhances their morale eventually. This will improve the current strain of BJSS by facilitating more adequacy in their services and seek better knowledge cultivation among the performances to improve their mindset with ease. Overall it would help in encouraging the professionals to be highly attentive and seek fairness in their operations. c. The performance objective of the business is To increase the productivity of the employee.To increase the number of clients by 10% each quarter.To provide adequate training and development to the professionals.To improve the supply chain and CRM operations in the management. Increasing the productivity of the employees will result in maximum yield for the entity and will automatically reflect suitable revenue generation. On the other hand, the aim to increase the number of clients by 10% will help in creating awareness among the professionals to work hard and accomplish the goals accordingly. Facilitating adequate training and development will boost the morale of the individuals and enhance their performing abilities to the next level. One of the prime and most decisive objectives of the firm is to improve the working condition of supply chain management, and CRM practises in the firm. Such will help in evaluating the overall performance of the firm and eradicate complexities and issues accordingly. 5. One of the prime issues faced in such activities is physical security, logical security and personal security. One of the major roles of compliance is to ensure protection and authentications in the systems. However, acknowledging the same sometimes becomes highly complex due to a dynamic nature of expertise required (GELLWEILER, 2019). One of the key issues cited in administration compliance is to safeguard it from any potential hacker or malicious files that encrypt the overall system and affect its performance accordingly. Such can be highly dreadful for entities like BJSS whose overall performance is dependent on such systems.High cost: the setup of the complex systems in the workplace is highly complex and requires huge capital investments. The main reason behind such costing is due to the nature of operation facilitated with the arrangements. The system is responsible for assisting the overall process and function of the firm, and this is highly complex and dynamic in nature (WANG and CHAUDHRI, 2019). Henceforth, adaptations of such systems require highly skilled professionals to install and administer the same for a specific period. However, the implementation of the system is prone to cherish the performing capabilities of the firm but is entitled to seek high cost at the beginning, which may not be affiliated by small firms.Cyber risk: the rapid increase in the digital space has cited many facilities and functions that have enhanced the working attributes of the individuals. However, such emergence has also facilitated the addition of cyber-crime activities in systems (CARRICK, 2016). Such risks are highly affected and cause serious implications and damages to the performing capabilities of the firm. BJSS will be severely affected due to such risks and reduces its potency in the industry (, 2020). However, it damages the performing capabilities of the firm by hampering the data and information of the clients and other important details accordingly. Conclusion This study has critically analysed the management of knowledge and system of information of BJSS and highlighted the determinants. It will give a brief about the objective of a corporate, overview of the business, structure of the company and model of the business. It has focused on the PESTEL and SWOT analysis to analyse the external and internal environment of the business and suggest suitable recommendations. It has been recommended to use MIS that is the backbone of the operations of the organisations. It helps in the gathering of data from various systems of online and analyses the information and reports the data which helps in making decisions for the organisation.
