The assignment has the specific aim of assessing the structure and psychometric properties of the Online Learning Readiness Scale (OLRS). You will revise and validate this scale using a sample of Australian online university students (note this is simulated data created specifically for this assignment). This task can be done in more than one way; you will be graded on the appropriateness and logic of the approach you take. We will provide you with a dataset. You will need to analyse the data and determine its factor structure and reliability, possibly removing items that do not fit. You will need to develop convergent and discriminant validity (and other) hypotheses based on relevant literature and test these hypotheses with appropriate statistics. You will also suggest ways in which the scale could be revised and critique the measurement method and definition of the construct.
