This lesson plan aims to reinforce students comprehension skills through speaking as well as exposing students to some vocabulary items thatthey use in their daily lives. All stages in the lesson plan are to help students read with understanding and become confident readers.Leading in, the teacher’s aim is to engage students in the topic of the day. The first stage helps lead into the materials to be used to cover up the lessonof the day and set the mood for what is to come next. Here, the teacher main aim is to motivate students to want to learn more making it exciting byputting them in groups to work together with other class mates. With the pre-teaching vocabulary, the teacher gets into unfamiliar vocabulary before getting into the context. This stage gives students comfort ofreading individually as they would be knowing the words already and it becomes easy for them to understand what they are reading. This stage buildsconfidence and helps with understanding thoroughly.First reading focuses on skiming general information on the context. This helps give students some kind of a clue / insight of what exactly the contextis about. The stage prepares Leaners for both accurate and fluent reading but mostly likely to focus in fluent reading and letting learners grasp whatthey can on their own. The stage will definitely get Students to be independent readers as well as they will be skiming alone and finding out generalinformation by themselves.Second ready is more into details, as students will be required to scan through the context to find detailed information so they can be able to answercomprehension questions. Comprehension questions given is to test students full understanding of the context, to get their reasoning capacity and to seeif they can get specific information from the contexts read. The last stage will be a conclusion of the lesson, whereby the teacher gives feedback and corrects students .The teacher will assist students fix theirerrors.
