In this module we will be working with an external organization that is currently undertaking a change management project. Working as part of a group you will be required to advise this organization on the most appropriate way to deliver this change in order to meet the stated objectives. 
Part 1 This part of the assignment is not assessed 
In groups you will be required to deliver a presentation to a representative of the external organization. This presentation should include the following:
A summary of the change management issue facing the external organization
A critical analysis of this issue drawing on relevant theories, models and academic research
Proposals for how the change management process should be implemented this proposal should draw on examples of change management models including a justification for the most appropriate
An analysis of the potential barriers to the implementation of the change management project and how these might be addressed
Part 2 – This part of the assignment is an individual piece of work and is assessed.
Drawing on the presentation delivered to the external organization you should complete the following tasks
1. Outline your understanding of the change management issue facing the external organization
2. Drawing on relevant theories, models and academic research critically analyse the significance of this issue for organisations
3. Based on a critical analysis of relevant change management models and theories, outline a project plan that sets out how the external organization should manage this change
4. Analyse the potential barriers to the implementation of the change management project and how these might be addressed
