Importance of language-focused learning. – LegitWriting

Describe the four strands of a well-balanced language course and the importance of language-focused learning. Make connections to your own prior language learning experiences (my first language is Spanish, although I started learning English in pre-K in the UK). please not, there should be a total of two references, first from N&N Ch. 1 and one other outside source (academic research article, that should come from google scholar and have full access to the article).
